Joining a Project

Welcome to a new way of working. This page is your guide to the very first step of any CollabraChain collaboration: receiving an invitation and officially joining a project. This initial process is designed to be completely transparent, ensuring that everyone's expectations are aligned and secured on-chain before any work begins.

Step 1: The Invitation

You won't receive a typical email invitation. Instead, the Project Creator will add you to a secure group chat directly within your wallet's messaging feature (e.g., Coinbase Wallet via XMTP).

This chat is your project's dedicated workspace. It will include:

• You

• The Project Creator

• Any other collaborators

• The @CollabraChain-AI agent, which facilitates the entire process.

Step 2: Review the Project Proposal

Once you're in the chat, the AI agent will post a structured project proposal for everyone to see. This is not just an informal message; it is the blueprint for the smart contract that will govern your collaboration.

This is your opportunity to review every detail carefully before committing.

✅ Your Review Checklist

Before you proceed, ask yourself these questions:

• Scope: Do I clearly understand what is expected for each milestone?

• Compensation: Is the payment for each milestone fair and accurate?

• Timeline: While not on-chain, have timelines been discussed? Does the structure seem reasonable?

• Transparency: Does the total budget seem appropriate for the work involved?

If you have any questions or concerns, now is the time to discuss them openly in the chat. The terms can be adjusted by the Project Creator before anyone confirms.

Step 3: The Digital Handshake

Once you are satisfied with the project terms, you must give your official approval. This is your "digital handshake" that signals your agreement.

To approve, simply send the following message in the chat:

The Significance of Your Confirmation:

Typing Confirm Project is more than just a chat message. You are providing on-chain consent. The AI agent records your approval, and once all collaborators have done the same, the system locks these terms into the smart contract agreement.

Step 4: What Happens Next?

After you and all other collaborators have confirmed, the project's status changes to "Pending Funding."

Your final confirmation to start working will be a message from the AI agent verifying that the Project Creator has successfully funded the escrow contract.
